√ Good height

To allow for a balanced fengshui energy flow under the bed you need to have your bed at a reasonable height above the floor level. The beds that have built-in storage drawers underneath is considered bad fengshui beds. Because the energy needs to circulate around your body when you sleep, which is not possible if the space underneath the bed is blocked.

为了能让风水能量运转，你的床需要有个适度的高度。市面上有推出床底抽屉以方便收纳物品的卧床，其实是风水的危机。由于对风水来说，需要借着运转才能产生好能量，床底挡着的话，变影响风水。

√ Bed should have a solid wall behind it

Having a solid wall behind the bed gives the occupant a feeling of safety and security. The ideal position would be to have the head of the bed against the back exterior wall of the house as this is the most secure location of all. If this is not possible the easiest cure for this is to ensure that you have a very solid headboard, the best are those that are either made of very solid wood or covered in very thick fabric.

卧床靠墙能给主人安全感，最佳的摆法是，床头的后方应靠着房子的外墙，因为这是最安全的位置。如果卧床无法靠墙的话，那么最好有个非常坚实的床头来代替墙壁。

You probably know that a mirror facing the bed is a big fengshui red flag. Either a mirror from a closet door or a piece of furniture or a free standing mirror, you do not want a mirror to reflect your bed.

以风水来说，镜子对着卧床是个大忌。无论是壁橱门或家具或站立镜，都是不适宜照着卧床。

The only thing you want above your bed when you sleep is a soft canopy. This is about it. Nothing heavy, hanging, please do not hang wind chimes and bells above your head, this is bad fengshui.

唯一一样东西能挂上卧床上方的是蚊帐。卧床上方忌挂沉重的物品及风铃，这是风水的禁忌。

Be it from the nearby nightstands, from a further away piece of furniture, such as a chest of drawers, or from a sharp wall corner, be sure to neutralize all the sharp energy aiming at your bed.

无论是床头柜、橱柜或墙角都不能直接指向你的卧床，如果无可避免的话，必须要消除这些尖锐感。

When you spend time under a sloped ceiling, your energy is being heavily constricted and is under constant pressure.  As nighttime is the only time when your body can do the deep work of regenerating itself, sleeping under a sloped ceiling restricts this work, thus one’s health may suffer. Sleeping in a bed under a sloped ceiling can also contribute to emotional instability and low energy. 

当你长时间在倾斜的天花板下，你的能量将会大量的减少。夜间睡眠是让我们体内开始运作修复身体，但是当你睡在倾斜的天花板下，这些能量就会大大地减低，影响体内运作，造成健康影响。而且，也导致情绪不稳定和低能量。

What do you look for when you are considering to purchase a new house? It comes to the price, location, size, condition, lot placement, floor plan and so on. These are the types of considerations that are taken into account when you want to assess the fengshui of a house. Here are some guidance to select a house with good fengshui.

当你购买新屋时，你会以什么为考虑前提？我们都会以价钱、地点、方尺、位置、内部结构与设计等等作为考量。来看看以下有什么指导能让你找到好风水的屋子。

Lot Placement

Be sure your house receives good energy from its surroundings, a clean street, good neighbours, no “sha chi” from nearby structures, no sloping land behind the house, and etc.

确保你房子周围是干净的街道、好邻居，附近没有煞气，房子后方的不应有斜坡等等。

Both Way of House

屋子周围

It is not good if the road ends in a straight line to the house. Also, houses with a highway behind and in front of the house will suffer, and corrections can’t be made for these. Long driveways or a dead end in front of the house, would be another problem, but can be corrected with plants or mirrors.

如果路的尽头是与房子成为平行线，这是非常不好的。房子的前方和后方有道路，风水上来说是非常不吉祥的。房前有长直的道路或是道路的终点，是另一个问题，但可利用植物或镜子来修正。

Get Support

靠山

You also want good backing (classical mountain in fengshui), good energy and view in front of the house. Land that falls away at the back of the house creates loss and difficulties getting recognition and promotion.

你需要有很好的靠山，需要良好的能量及风景于房屋前方。屋后的路面不平会造成损失和难得到认可和升职机会。

Strong Front Door

The front door is very important in fengshui as this is how the house receives its Chi, or energy nourishment. Sometimes you can change a bad fengshui pathway with easy landscaping, and sometimes you just can't be mindful about it.
前门是非常重要的，因为这是吸收气及能量的地方。你可以美化及利用装饰来改变坏风水，但有时候这招却行不通，需要慎重考虑。

Open Up

广阔

If the house faces open land or has a wide, open area at the front, it has the “bright hall effect”. This is extremely auspicious. Make sure the house is not overwhelmed by landscaping. If there is a tree too close to the house, especially if it is in line with the front door, this is not good and will prevent opportunities for the houseowner.

如果房子面对着广阔的土地或在开放的区域里，这是非常吉祥的风水。但要确保房子不能过于装饰而破坏风水。如果屋前有棵树，表示遮挡了屋主的机会，这是不好的征兆。

Southwest and Northwest

西南和西北地区

These are the two most important directions in a house. The Northwest should never have an open flame, such as a gas stove. This is a fengshui taboo. To have a house such as this is to invite severe difficulties for the man of the house. Look at Southwest, this is the position for the woman or mother of the house. If there is a storeroom or bathroom located here, there could be marital difficulties and unhappiness.

西南和西北是家里最重要的方向。西北绝不能有明火如：煤气炉等；这是风水的禁忌。如果有这样的风水，很难邀请亲朋亲友到家。在西南，这是女人或母亲的位置，如果有个储藏室或浴室坐落在这里，有可能导致婚姻苦难和不愉快。

Do - Hang a Mirror near Entrance

Do - Keep Mirrors Away from South
应 – 镜子远离南方

Do not place mirrors in the south area of your space. Mirrors represent water, and the south area of your space needs fire. As water puts down fire. The south of your space needs red, bright, and fiery colours to support positive Chi.
不要放置镜子在南方。镜子代表着水，南方则需要火，水能灭火，所以不应该在南方摆放镜子。南方需要摆放红色、明亮、火热的颜色来支持，为你带来好的气场。

Don’t – Place Mirror Facing Front Door
忌 – 在门前对面放镜

This pushes the energy from inside out. If you want a mirror to open your foyer, adding a mirror is a great idea. Just don’t put opposite the front door or it may bring bad luck.
这样的作法就会把所有的能量都反射出去。在玄关上安置镜子来扩大空间绝对是明智，却要小心避免摆置在镜子面前以招来厄运。

Don’t – Use Broken Mirror or Bagua
忌 – 摆放破镜子或八卦镜

Bagua is often hung outdoor like front door or window, it deters evil spirits. So, the reflection from Bagua shouId not head towards your neighbours. It is not ideal to transfer home evil to others’ house. Cracked mirrors are very negative energy. Remove them.
在自家大门外或者窗外挂上八卦镜，用来震慑化煞，所以八卦镜子反射出去的方向不可射到别人房屋，不得将自己的居家煞转向别人居家。破损的镜子如：小镜子、瓷砖或任何扭曲或分解的图像都有非常负面的能量，应避开及撤掉。

Bedroom and kitchen are “YIN” areas and a fish tank is “YANG”, since the bedroom is a room for rest, placing a fish tank there would create too much of “YANG” energy and cause a very restless sleep.

Every day, we are wearing different colour clothes and bedding, which will actually inadvertently absorb some of their energy. In fact, colour brings both psychological and physiological to us. We all know that green colour is also a symbol of environmental awareness. In fact, green also helps us to sleep, followed by blue, the latter makes people feel calm. Purple, another great choice, is also the shortest colour spectrum (within the spectrum of colour) where, according to physiologists, purple promotes one’s mental balance and well-being, and stimulates or promotes quality and good sleep. 众所周知，绿色也象征着环保意识。其实绿色也是有助于睡眠的颜色，其次是蓝色，蓝色能让人觉得安定及镇静。另外是紫色，紫色也是光谱里最短的颜色。据生理学家讲，紫色对于人的假平衡起到作用，能够刺激或促进睡意，提高睡眠质量。

The colour that affects sleep such as red, orange and yellow, is not suitable for sleep. Yellow has the highest brightness within colour spectrum; it irritates eyes, and is definitely not suitable for sleep. It is a neurotic colour. One of classical paint works “Sunflowers” by Vincent Willem van Gogh, a Dutch impressionist painter based in France, used lots of yellow. As yellow has the greatest impact on human nervous system, which represents hesitation, such colour is not suitable for sleep state. 而影响睡眠的亢奋颜色如红色、橙色和黄色就不适合睡眠了。黄色是光谱里明度最 高的颜色，对眼睛的刺激比较大，也不适合睡眠。其实它是一个神经质的色彩。法国印象派画家凡高最典型的代表作“向日葵”，大量用黄色。黄色对于人的神经系 统刺激最大，还代表了一犹豫，这种色彩不适合人类在休眠状态里存在。

In addition, there are people consider a simple white bedroom promotes sleep, however, white colour actually does not encourage rest as it dazzles in nature, and excites eye visuals. A tranquil and restful sleep environment is often wished-for in one’s subconscious mind while sleeping. Sleeping in a highly white colour revealed will influence pupil contraction, making it difficult to have a restful sleep. 另外，很多人以为简单的白色卧室，能促进睡眠。谁不知，白色其实并不利于休息。因为白色较耀眼，刺激视觉，人睡觉时潜意识里希望宁静的环境，晚上睡觉之前有太多的白色，会使得瞳孔收缩，造成难以入睡。

Further, grey tone for restful sleep is more promising, conversely, those relatively high saturated colours big red, green, blue, purple is not appropriate for bedroom. 此外，带有灰色调的色彩也比较有利于睡眠，相反饱和度比较高的、很艳丽的，大红、大绿、大蓝、大紫等颜色放在卧室是不宜的。
